Floored with inspiration!

Evening Greetings,

This is an image of my newly finished
studio floor. We were so lucky to have found an expert in the techniques of acid staining. What a process, we had to basically move out for about a week because of the fumes from the oxidizing acid and then sealer. I am truly delighted with the result and I'm having a blast sorting, discarding the junk and rearranging/organizing the room.
I have never felt that this room was just for me until now. (although it was planned as such when we purchased the home) It has been packed with holiday decorations, boxes for donation and anything else that could be packed in there. I can't wait to finally create a space for me to play.

As well as author Jill Haglund, it includes ATC's by Ginny Carter-Smallenburg (of Stampers Anonymous fame), Roben-Marie Smith, Amy Wellenstein, Carlene Federer, Claudine Hellmuth, & Lou McCulloch just to name a few. The book has phenomenal photography and some great rubberstamping information. Every card includes instructions and materials used with vendor names. I was so tickled to see my own name in print. I just love ARTIST TRADING CARDS!!!!

Blank~ish Journal Swap in progress!

Here is a photo of a page in progress, I had to pack up
all my supplies for new floors. They've only been packed for
a week so far and my fingers are itching to get them out again!
*promise to self* I will not go out and splurge on art supplies
during this week just because I can't reach them. My car is NOT
a temporary studio. :)
I will add some layers of stitching add pockets and other yummies.
My quote will be:
"I will not whisper what I feel"~ Barishnikov from the movie White Nights
Get going, we are gonna have some fun with this one!
