CHARM SWAP

I recently completed my 25 charms for the Oh So Charming Art-E-Zine Charm Swap. See the following blog from our hostess Dawn Sellers for more details.

For my charms I made mini domino stamped and hand painted, accented with copper wire, tape, and beads. The stamp used is called "anonymous collage" by Stampers Anonymous.

Also a close-up....

and then overachiever I am....I believe presentation is everything. (I spent 15 years as a window dresser and visual merchandiser). SO I put each charm in a separate little baggie with some fun fibers, and attached the charm to a stamped tag, with a label and instructions...A little something extra or "lagniappe" to the people who get my charms in the swap...

So here that is

What do you get when 100 fabulously talented artists make cool recycled charms? You get a really great bracelet!!!! Can't wait to see which 25 charms I get back.

Another New ATC

I just finished some more artist trading cards. I sent some off in the mail to a friend and here is my favorite.

I love this image of Drew Barrymore. The rest is hand stamped, red mulberry paper, red silk yarn fibers, red nailpolish, black german scrap strip and black wings from Artchix Studio, and some random black and white scrap of paper.
Off to create for my charm swap. ~Dawn

New Year, New Art, New ATC

Wow, after several weeks of busy craziness with the holidays I finally sat down to create something new. I just finished some ATC's for an Artchix Swap I signed up for. Do you know about ARTCHIX STUDIO?? http://artchixstudio.com They are the best place online to buy collage sheets and yummy paper goodies and embellishments.

The name of the swap hosted by Michelle Dressler is "Eat, Drink and Be Merry" and here one of my favorite cards. I painted some heavy watercolor paper, stamped with Staz On, embellished with butterfly wings, Artchix collage sheet, and some fun flat embellishments that I also stamped and painted. I finished with some fun yarn fibers on top of mulberry papers.

Have an artsy day! Off to create some more... ~DSB
